Will the things I say be private?
In a word, "Yes." There are a few exceptions to this, and those will be clearly explained before we ask for private information. But we are very careful to keep personal things confidential.
What about the cost?
The cost for services can usually be determined on the first visit. Cost depends on your ability to pay. Some of the cost may be paid by health insurance. Our agency is a State "Rule 29" provider for insurance companies. We provide the mental health services of "Employee Assistance Programs" for some local employers. We also accept Medical Assistance coverage, Medicare, and Champus. Our support staff will gladly answer your billing questions, and help you complete the necessary forms.
How long will it take?
There are many things that affect how long services may be needed. We can give you a better idea after the first appointment, when we understand more about your situation. We want to do whatever seems most helpful in the shortest time possible, but still give you the best quality services we can provide.
